This summer, take yourself (or a group of friends) on a self-care date and sign up for a specialized workshop focusing on key foundational movements found in belly dance traditions that awaken new patterns in the body to access self-soothing and de-stressing techniques. Participants will learn to integrate new movement techniques and mini dance-combos as new ways to practice self-care.
This workshop is designed to help you:
Build tools to both calm the nervous system in times of stress, and energizes in times of collapse or fatigue
Find deep stillness or inner exploration through gentle wave work
Utilize up-regulating movements through rhythm, core strength and vibrational shimmies
Ground in the present moment and celebrate our delicious selves!
Belly Dance is a community practice that empowers individuals to experience the pleasure of connecting and honouring their sensual being.
